Namsan — A Light Trek in Central Seoul
In the heart of Seoul, Namsan (262m) is the best mountain for hiking beginners. You can reach the N Seoul Tower at the top by walking path, stairs, or cable car — ideal for travelers who want an easy city view.
Season by season

- ☀️ Summer — a cool forest trail within the city
- 🍁 Autumn — foliage in harmony with the city night view
- ❄️ Winter — snow-covered paths, the N Tower night view
Courses
- North circular road — a flat, car-free walking path, the easiest
- Stair trail — 30–40 minutes on foot to the top from the Myeongdong/Hoehyeon side
- Cable car — to the top without walking
Nearby
Myeongdong, Namdaemun Market, and a hanok village are right at the foot of the mountain.
