Main vocalist of ITZY. Born Choi Ji-su on July 21, 2000 in Seoul. In a performance-driven group, hers is the voice that keeps the live vocals steady.

Road to Debut

Having studied abroad, she is fluent in English. After training at JYP she debuted with ITZY in 2019; she is also known to have trained at another major agency before.

Vocal Style

With a clear yet firm tone, she mostly takes the choruses and high notes, delivering stable live vocals even through intense choreography.

Hiatus and Return

In September 2023 she paused activities for health reasons, sitting out the early-2024 BORN TO BE promotions, and returned with GOLD in October 2024. Fans read one scene in the 2025 "Girls Will Be Girls" music video as a nod to that period.
